Online Xbox Series X Games – Xbox Won’t Have a Booth in E3 23
The upcoming E3 2023 gaming event will take place in Los Angeles this June. However, there is confirmation from Xbox now that they will not be present on the show floor of the event. Instead, Xbox will be co-streaming its Xbox Games Showcase on June 11th as part of E3’s digital component. This will be the place to go to if you want to see online Xbox Series X games.
This news is not surprising at all. Previous reports say that Xbox, PlayStation, and Nintendo do not plan to officially participate in E3 2023.
However, Microsoft’s Gaming CEO Phil Spencer says Xbox still supports E3 and will do everything possible to make it successful. ReedPop, the new organizer of E3, said that unnamed “AAA companies” will appear at the event. However, many publishers are still uncertain about who will be taking part.
Online Xbox Series X Games – Other Players Stepping Back
In February, Nintendo confirmed that it would not be participating in E3. Furthermore, Sony will also likely skip the event for the second year in a row. This means that both Nintendo and Microsoft will not have booths at the convention.
However, E3’s owner, Reed Exhibitions US, will share news about exhibitors and publishers. They will tell us who will join the digital showcase series and have a booth on the show floor.
The E3 convention will go on from June 13th to June 16th. The digital week is starting on June 11th with Microsoft’s Xbox show. The event will feature different opportunities for general fans and business partners.
Sony’s absence is also a blow for fans who were hoping for some exciting announcements from them this year. However, it should be noted that Sony has been doing its own thing in recent years. Apparently, they have been quite successful with their State of Play events.
